I liked meet the spartans :D
I never saw these movies in theaters. This is one moviegoer who still has his twelve bucks in his pocket! Ha ha!
you could never comprehend how much i whole heartedly agree with you.
Wow. Somebody else likes this too!

This scene had me going when I first watched it.
Every movie that has "movie" at the end is the fucking worst movie ever made
THE FUCKIN
WORST
I liked all the Scary Movie's and Superhero Movie. But the rest are god awful. I really like David Zucker and the Wayans are pretty good. But why can't people be a bit more original? Normally, I'd just avoid bad movies. But these movies are so fucking bad it just makes me mad.
Well excuse me, but I can't watch my dog lick their balls because MINE HAS NONE (it's a female) >:(
Well I like scar move 1 & 2, kinda liked 3 & 4 but all others sucked (but i thought meet the spartans was the least suckiest) especially disaster movie and believe me i have personally watched all the movies completely. I had to scrub my brain with bleach after disaster movie because it was so bad. I mean all the other movies at least made me chuckle but disaster movie made me cry (in a bad way). I have to agree with you about comedy movies of the 80s and 90s such as airplane and the naked gun and the people that make the "Movies" should quit while theyre uh..... far behind?
True dat!
To achieve great success in the world of MASS MEDIA, you must appeal to the GENERAL public. This is a reflection upon itself that the general populace of humanity has no face or dignity to uphold a lingering honor toward themselves.
I think the problem is that the parodies lack focus. Most of those titles suggest what is actually a decent idea for a movie. Disaster movies and vampires are ripe for parody.
What happens with these films is that they throw in every movie reference they can from the popular flicks that have recently come out in the past year. Worse still is that they forget to actually come up with any solid jokes related to the thing they're supposedly parodying.
I too miss the way they used to do it: Airplane! Spaceballs and Naked Gun to name a few.
Oh greatest of truths. This genre was known as "Saturation comedy." Let us remember the good ones.
Airplane!
Top Secret
I'm Gonna Git You Sucka
Naked Gun: From the files of the Police Squad (And by proxy the short lived Police Squad series...)
And yes, to a small degree, even Hotshots..
I remember being an idiot when "Date Movie" came out. I assumed the two writers they advertised were Marlon and Daymon Waynes, not the other two blighters that no one ever heard of. Yet not really feeling I'd get the parody since I don't watch, uhm, date movies, I skipped out on it. Yet when Epic Movie came out I thought the same thing, that it was the Waynes. I had somehow ignored the screams of horror from the poor souls who went to see Date Movie. I actually bought a ticket for Epic Movie.
I'm not going to state the stereotypical "I want 80 minutes of my life back" or refund, no, what I want is my SOUL back. I feel like castrating myself for even admitting I got suckered into that one. Then again I suppose those two dipshits who made it are the ones who deserve to be castrated, if they even have any balls to begin with. My guess is that they probably haven't even dropped.l The maturity level of the humour they display suggests that if we tear off their masks they are really just a pair of 8 year old's in disguise of adults.
I thankfully didn't see any of the others they made, and I saw the trailer for "Vampires Suck" and immediately knew to step very far away. I do believe it is not being done by Seltzer and Friedman, the bastards who did Date Movie etc. but it no doubt is following in its footsteps. There was a similar one that ended in disaster in a flash as well, I think it was called "Transylmania."
I'm starting to get ranty again. Ranting about a rant. Redundancy redundant!
Couldn't agree more
Soooo true...
lol fuck going the the movies to see crap if i want to see it i just pirate the fuck out of it muhahahahahaha
I actually like these dumb movies :(
I see em as disposable income. Like I know they suck but theres something satisfying about watching them. Its kinda like eating alot of candy, you know its rotting your teeth but you eat em anyway.
That's why you don't tell a retarded kid he can grow up to be anything he wants to be. He'll want to be a film director and we'll have to sit through the stupid films our group of friends dragged us into.
The sad thing is half oof the people who comment on this are probly going to go see that. :(
Amen. most of the comedies of today do suck balls, but there are occasionally good ones at times. I recommend Zombieland for example.
But seriously, There's nothing like the comedies of the old days, Hot Shots and Hot Shots Part Deux are some of my all time favorite comedy movies.

I couldn't finish Epic Movie. I just couldn't bring myself to do it, it was so bad. Since then I haven't seen any "movie" movies.
Osuka
you lucky bastard
