READ THE RULES AND DOWNLOAD RESOURCE MATERIAL HERE!!!

This is a simple contest. Only you need to make a TEXTURE MAP for a 3D Figure. Is like painting a Munny but digitally

Prizes
-1st place: $50 Store Credit
-2nd place: $40 Store Credit
-3rd place: $30 Store Credit
-The Best 10: will appear in the Background on a Easter Egg in my animation WOTP, and a RENDER of the Figure using their Textures (and you can upload this renders in the ART PORTAL)

Tom Fulp suggested that the winners can appear in a 3D animated short. So the 1st 2nd and 3rd place will get the LEAD CHARACTERS, the 4th to 10th can appear as EXTRAS

Contest Rules:
-Due Date: MARCH 15th NOON (NG time)
-The Image must be 1024x1024
-You must write your Username (Created by) and the Name of your character (Texture ID) in the white box
-You can upload many Textures as you want, but only ONE can win
-NO pornography, unless is really hilarious
-NO Copyrighted characters, we are looking for Original work
-Upload your Texture in the Art Portal with the tag: NGFIGURE2011
-Post your submission here in the forum with link to your Texture in the ART PORTAL

I dont have a microfone to explain the details. But I learn a lot watching videos of people doing things. Im using the basics of Photoshop here, no special skill needed

That was cool and all, but I don't have the fancy, shmancy Photoshop.
Macromedia Fireworks is my only friend. :<

if you can paint in fireworks you can do the texture :)

I also learn from doing what others do, but again I'm not everyone, some people with enough prior knowledge will understand, others will herp their derp.
There's also things like annotations/notepad if you can't do voice.

pretty good demostration of what to do! the music sucked tho lol.

maybe you could add works to the basic mesh so people know whats what?

like "left sneaker" "face" "front" shirt" etc..

mmm i like your idea. the plan is to get more people interested in participating. i seen some work in progress and will look damn good :D

i dont know if the staff can participate in contest, but i hope that you can make at least one :)
